Guys,

I'm going to attempt to remove the air pump and associated pipes apart from the relay/connectors and wiring tomorrow.

I am going to test the resistor trick on the stock ECU.

I believe you can remove the pump without taking the front bumper off?

Has anyone removed one?, how easy it is to do? and anything to watch out for/tips?

i think it would be easier to remove the bumper but in my case it is cable tied on for quick release lol

There is only a couple of bolts to undo to remove it but I still think it would be too fiddly and annoying to do like that

Do you have the remove the undertray when removing the front bumper? - cant remember.

Hopefully the resistor trick will work, and i can banish this CEL light.

i have a delete kit i am hopefully fitting tomorrow (weather depending) and will be doing it from removing the inner arch lining. taking the bumper off is to much hassle

I suppose this is something I should look into doing with mine as I think the AEM EMS is capable of deleting it and I don't think its attached to anything on my car at the moment. I take it all i'd need to do is make up a blanking plate?

Im good at struggling, plus with my new under tray/splitter i have fitted removing the bumper is hard work

Good man , depending on what kit you have, you can't remove absolutely everything but bulk of the stuff (the only thing you can't remove is the relay and wires).

I need to check what happens when you the vacuum tank and air control solenoid valve, as this could be tricky.
