Seeing who's thinking of going. I sure am, and will be leaving with the convoy of s2ks from NY on Wednesday the 11th after work :rev:

When: April 13th, 14th and 15th, 2012 (I also take off Monday the 16)
Where: Fontana Village Resort www.fontanavillage.com
Registration ENDS 4/8/12 @ 12am
What: WTDX 2012 (Wake the Dragon 2012), our 10th annual Spring Honda S2000 event on the famous Dragon!
318 curves in 11 miles and plenty of opportunity to socialize with other S2000 enthusiasts. Located in the beautiful mountains of NC/TN.

I maybe going to this. I am starting to plan it now, if I do go, I will roll with your guys to NC. I'm almost 80 percent sure am going, just trying to get everything taken care of with work and hotel stuff.

We will leave on wed when everyone that is going is ready, as late as 6pm from long island.

We drive till about midnight, and stay at a hotel halfway down. sleep 8 hrs, have breakfast, arrive thursday afternoon at the event.

We'll see how much spare money I have left when I get back from Arizona a week or two earlier. I'd love to attend and if I can save some of the cash that I am planning on bringing to AZ then I'm in.

convoy is at 7 cars...it will be 14 by the time we reach the event, where it will be over 100.

The best part, for me, was the convoy to and from the Dragon with these guys. Driving through the Dragon was just a nice bonus.
