Default The "KISS" Build - A New Twist W/ A Supercharger?

I'm back, rather than buy another Z06 I decided to build another S2000. I loved the Z and it is far surperior to the S2000 when it comes to looks and the track for me but not when it comes down to fun factor I have yet to find a car to match it. I was fortunate for find a SUPER clean 2001 with 39,000 miles that is at least 8-10. I really could not believe how clean the car was when I went to look at it locally, I ended pulling out cash and made the owner an offer of $12K and he accetpeted. I am working on bringing it up to my standards now and plan to start my build soon! I am naming this my "KISS" or Keep It Simple Stupid build and I as my goal is to make 500isd WHP reliably on the steet and the for the car to be VERY versatile.

Build Criteria

Can handle Long Road Trips
- Stock or Close Ride Quality
- VERY Reliable Components
- Able to drink pump and E85 w/o input from the driver (Flex Fuel)
- Keep the Radio and quiet down the cabin
- Trunk can't be filled with stero or HP parts

The Wife can drive around on nice days
- Cant be too low (1/2" to 3/4" Max)
- Power has to be manageable
- Must be wisper quiet, well until I give a bit of STICK
- Clutch has to engage like stock

Capible of runing 20-30min HPDE sessions in the dead of summer
- Good cooling system
- Adjustable suspension Components
- Good Brakes

Spend as little time and money as I can to do it
- I am going to be house broke for the next 7-10 years until I pay of my new mortgage

Sleeper Status
- Has to look as close to stock as possible in the interior and exterior

Here is my short list, I am doing most of this from memory so it is a work in progress.

Base Build
Replace Cabin Filter
Bumper Lisence Plate Inserts
Wet Sand and Polish Paint

Drive Shaft Bolts (The often strip when removing and are hard to find replacements for locally)
ACT XACT Flywheel (Streetlite)
(This Clutch is recomended for a mild street setup but is at it's limit new around 350FTLB's/550WHP, if you are racing I would recomend a dual/triple clutch like the SOS or Competition)
Berk Header
Berk 3" Catback

Custom SOS Supercharger Kit (Details to Come Soon)
Ultimate Racing Air to Air Intercooler
Sound Performance Mechanical Boost Actuated Cutout
GM Fast Acting Air Temperature Sensor (In Intercooler Piping)

1000cc/min ID Injector Aeromotive 340LPH Fuel Pump Direct Wired
AEM Factory Rail Mounted FPR - Required to increase base fuel pressure and maximize injector potential
Inline Pro Fuel Rail - Not needed but the extra ports are handy
(Choose the Haltech over an AEM due the avialiblity of using the FlexFuel sensor directly, better software interface and great price. Note that the injectors are small and in phase two I will be testing a different pump/injector setup)

Suspension/Brakes & Tires
TSW Interlagos 18" x 9" NonStaggered
Nitto Invo's 255-35-18
Motul Brake Fluid

OEM Hardtop

Phase III
Custom Intake Manifold
XXXX LSD
Comptech/Puddy Mod Renforced Diff Housing
Front Brake Ducts - Have to wait on fitting the intercooler lines before I can fabricate this kit.
GM Flex Fuel Sensor
FullBlown Radiator
SPod Rear Speakers

Welcome back. You are setting your car up quite similarly to my own. I want to take my car to the road course and not worry about overheating or things breaking and then drive home with a/c, no droning exhaust, music playing and have whoever is in the passenger seat not be able to tell what the car just did.
