So what's the deal with the crx

Parted the crx out- sold the shell on saturday. I had a pure hate towards that car.

I did receive some pictures from tom down at inlinpro today. Shows clearances, etc.

Why did you hate the CRX (time to update the sig!)?

The turbo build I did with the crx just ended up going so south... Electrical issues(ended up being an ebay ecu harness) and fuel issues. It just did not want to run, so I called it quits and parted it out. Honestly, I just have REALLY bad luck... literally.

Wow that is tight in there. Are they going to do a custom intake manifold for that to get the inlet on the right side? Or are they able to use something for a K-series and modify it?

No mods to the unibody on the alternator side? I haven't done any research on this swap, but that looks like there'd be some contact once the car's driven.

Well piping will need to be custom. It will have to drop straight down to hit the intercooler.

Hmm. That will be interesting how they do the pipe. They still need to fit a throttle bottle on the manifold. And that will not leave a lot of room for the pipe it looks like.

Alright update on this situation. Short block and mounts are finished, decided to really go big. Sold the gt30, trying to sell the log manifold i have because im going with a custom twin scroll manifold from inlinepro. Unfortunately my head needs work, and im out of spending cash. So this project might be pushed back a bit. Priorities with school are coming up and i need to take care of that. When i do get the car back ill be tucking the engine bay, redoing some interior stuff and then saving for head work. After that it will be longblock build, mount tranny, drop it all in than go from there. Still looking into a bigger turbo, gotta get wastegates now and still have to order shifter box/cables/etc.

Too much fun and not enough cash. Hope you played the lotto!

Keep us posted on the build and good luck with school.

The car is still at Inlinepro. The next thing in line is the custom turbo manifold to be fabricated. As soon as that is completed I will pick up the car.

He threw a rod through the side lol. Head looks fine, from the top. Turbo, bov and piping seem to all be good.

When i get the longblock/trans out ill start pulling it all apart to see inside. I think the wastegate is what failed, we"ll see...

Oh trust me i know... Did my clutch job with 4 jack stands maxed out and a tiny jack in my garage. Ended up basically bringing the whole tranny down on my chest bear hug style!!

STILL waiting on inlinepro, apparently they have a ton of projects ahead of my manifold right now  ...
