South Mimms Honda meet in conjunction with Endless Horizon Motorsport, Honda Culture and Civiclife.

For this meet and the following ones the management have asked for a few things to change -
1. Park in the bays, as there will be a lot more space for everyone.
2. Please adhere to the one way system in place there, do not drive any direction you please as the flow of traffic grinds to halt.
3. No racing around the car park or revving your engines, whoever does this will not get free parking and their regs will be noted down and informed to the police.
4. Everyone will have to register their cars at the Days Inn hotel reception within the 2 hours from when they arrive.

There will be marshals to ensure all of these points above are understood by everyone and to make sure everything runs smoothly. Please listen to them as if you dont you will not be able to have the free parking.

NO SILLY DRIVING IN THE CAR PARK, NO REVVING YOUR ENGINES! THIS IS A STATIC MEET!!

PLEASE MAKE SURE YOU PUT ALL YOUR RUBBISH IN THE BINS PROVIDED!!!

its a really nice large flat open car park with space for 2-300 cars, its clean and well maintained. PERFECT place for a meet. the meet i attended last year was great, full day packed with modified honda's, great people and nice weather.

don't slate something someone has put a lot of time into organizing and you have no plan on going to in the first place. if you have nothing nice to say keep stum!!

Rob, i wasn't commenting on the people who attend!

I was saying that surely their is a more picturesque but still practicable place to meet!

Glad your so excited though, good for you.

their was over 300 cars at the last one, not many places that you can fit that many cars in for free and its all about the cars , not the venue

sorry if my reply seemed over defensive of the guys and the venue but it really is a great day and a awesome location for the amount of cars that turn up.

At the first couple there were quite a few modded S's with Phil, Lucky and I, also quite a few other non modded cars.

Last one I went to (been to 3 of them) was full of cars that looked like they wouldn't make it over a speed bump, feck knows how they managed to make it to the car park. I had a quick look around and decided to make a sharp exit.

South Mimms is not a bad location as it sits right on the intersection of the A1 and the M25 so relatively easy to get to for a lot of people.

I went to the last one in Oct and it was good fun. Really depends on what you're comfortable with.

It wasn't full of idiots and it had a good vibe - loads of Honda fans and 90% of folk I spoke to were friendly.

It will be good to catch up with you again Rob, and anyone else from here who is going.
