Is the lookout spot well marked? If I'm leading this drive, which I don't mind doing, let's talk before we take off about where the photo spots are.

Does anyone use two-way radios? Last time I tried them with the top down at freeway speed, it was almost impossible to understand. Wind noise may also hamper cell phone use and I understand we're heading into some dead cell zones.

I just filled my Odyssey's gas tank on Sunday and it cost $72.00. Prices have gone up since then, but this is one time I'm glad the S tank isn't 20 gallons.

I do believe there are signs up by the bridge when we get closer to it. It's going to be off to the left and you have to turn left down a street a little bit before the bridge. You can't miss it. I'll see if i can get a hand on a couple of radios. But not sure if ill be able too.

After the bridge stop, we'll continue on about 8 miles to Punkin Center Bar & Grill. The lodge next door is also owned by the same folk and I spoke to them this morning. As of now, they have no guests booked and I was told we can line our cars up in front of the lodge for another group shot.

Good drive, good food, and great people. Maybe we need a collection jar to help offset the ticket.

Once I saw the lights I knew someone was getting caught.

Had a great time! Was a real good group.

Time to plan the next group drive :)

What a great time !
I'm gonna go on group drives as often as possible. (and get that Valentine radar detector... ouch)
not sure if same passenger will be going next time. his Camaro isnt nearly as capable on the curves, and left him with white knuckles.

thanks for organizing, Mark and to all that came. :tipwink:

Thank you to all who showed up. We had a great time, except for one unlucky guy who got caught. I am embarrassed that I missed the turnoff for Punkin Center. Good catch for those who stopped in time. So much for just 5 or 10 over, huh? I guess my tires are not that slow after all. My friend saw the big pumpkin from the road and started laughing when we missed it at first. I couldn't tell if she was serious or not. Was my face red!

Any comments on the meet up place, the sometimes slow traffic, or the lunch spot? My hamburger was tasty. Good times chatting with new friends and some familiar faces. My friend had a good time, so thanks for everyone's hospitality, too.

I think that I need an amplifier for my radar detector. I didn't hear it go off until after I saw the lights flashing.

I counted 9 S2000s and one tag along, for a total of 10 cars in the lunch stop parking lot, with 18 people at lunch. What a great turn out.

Did anyone else take any pictures? I have one more that I'd like to load if I can get it today.
