Which bushes do they replace and where are they fitted? What are the benefits of fitting them..I think Loftust has briefly touched upon this question above.

Thanks

Taken from a competitors site regarding the mugen bushes:

Rubber bushings including the engine mounts for reducing the vibration created by the engine and transmission, suspension arm bushings for contributing to the balance between road-holding and comfort, and stabilizer bushings for assisting roll control are designed to achieve controllability in mass-production vehicles, and also to have a hardness that gives priority to ride comfort. Harder bushings are required for controlled sports driving or production car races, in order to increase suspension stiffness, minimize judder, suppress rolling, and improve steering response. These original higher-hardness bushes comply with all production car race regulations, and can be substituted for the original parts. The suspension arm bushes are fitted by removing the original bushes from the arm, and inserting the hard bushes.

They fit between parts 26, 13 & 14 on the diagram below:-

I have communictaed with Mugen Japan regarding the compound and design of these bushes for potentional customers.

1. Exactly the same shape as OEM Honda parts as some Japanese race regulation does not allow to change the bush shape.

2. The rubber compound is 15% harder than OEM parts.

Well Simon, I think you just set the record for the fastest delivery I've ever gotten. Any Irish person will tell you how hard it can be sometimes, I think I've had stuff from the opposite side of Dublin take longer! Top class, thanks again :tipwink:

Sorry to spam up the thread, but just wanted to say I was blown away by the fantastic service provided by Hendy.

Paid for the bushes, within a couple of hours the FedEx tracking email is sent by Hendy, next morning first thing they are at my door!

A lesson for all companies.

Thanks Si!

Yes this is the space where a signature should be and no, this is not a signature.

Why you do not want to order ANY of your S2000 parts from ANY UK Honda Dealer
