Well as most will know I collected my S a week or so back and had a few jobs to sort before I could really start enjoying it. Well those things are done, it went straight through MOT and I was down the Post Office like a shot to get it taxed.

Now on the road it was time to enjoy these lovely sunny winter mornings we are having so I tool the hard top off and put it into storage.

Also gave me a chance to do a real deep clean, with the exception of a top coat of wax as I left it at home!! So it's been sealed as is for now, but next time round it will get a full coat of wax as well.

Few pics of finished results -

Looks lovely Si :)

It's tempting me to remove my HT too, but with predicted snow in the next week or so I think I'm going to hold out for now...

Love the S in red, very under rated colour... Mine is in desperate need to similar treatment.

Thanks for kind comments guys, it's worlds apart fro bow it looked when I collected it from BCA Auctions. Did it at a friends unit in the warm but forgot my final coat of wax so it's missing a layer but its all sealed for now.

Need to get wheels redone, that's the only thing that let's it down, but off to Ring in April so will do it when I get back.

I think they look fantastic in red.
I got as far as taking a train from Cornwall to collect a red S from someone in Loughborough when they phoned me and told me, very emotionally, that they'd decided to keep it. Although I can certainly respect and understand that, he refused to pay for my wasted train fare and the early cancellation fee for the insurance I'd arranged (so I could tax it and drive it home...) - I learned my lesson.

I'm happy with the Nurburgring blue S I ended up with, but every time I see a gorgeous red one like yours I stop and wonder what could have been... *wistful sigh*

Enjoy it :)

Yes this is the space where a signature should be and no, this is not a signature.

Why you do not want to order ANY of your S2000 parts from ANY UK Honda Dealer

Thanks chaps, seen a fair few pre facelift in red but not seen a facelift '04 in red which is quite nice.

Wheels need a refurb and trying to decide best finish/colour to go for with the red....

Love it, different granted but looks spot on for a modded S - seen some atrocious attempts but that looks ace!!!

Is thatt a charger i spy?!? Be interested in your thoughts on the charger setup, something I have been reading about on TTS website!!

It is a Supercharger, or rather it was...it was at Tts supersports kit.it put out around twice the stock HP, it retains the standard power delivery but on steroids.

Can I just ask - What products did you use mate. I've just got my first S and looking for some good (not too pricey) cleaning products.

Cheers

I use the following bud in this order -

Wash with two bucket method and Dodo Juice Basics of Bling shampoo.

Clay with Meguiars clay and Quick Detailer

Cleanse with Dodo Juice Lime Prime

Seal with Meguairs Polymer Sealant

Then top coat of wax Dodo Juice Orange Crush in this case for the red car.

Get all my gear from Elite Car Care, Alex is top man and will see you right.
