Not a big deal but:

(A) Sheesh, why won't the seatbelt stay in the slotted plastic retainer attached to the drivers-side seat near the shoulder? Repeatedly, I have to re-thread the thing lest I "lose' the belt and have to go digging behind the seat. Maybe I should drill and bolt in some plastic or metal to bridge the gap in the retainer, but... ugh!

(B) Unlike my old Miata, there's no "clip" to hold an unused passenger side belt, and the buckle tends to rattle against the interior hard trim. Sometimes I clip the seatbelt over a non-existent "passenger" -- well at least my briefcase isn't going anywhere, and it stops the racket. Also, I noticed a side effect when I do that -- the "off" indicator light for the RH airbag stays on. I presume there's a sensor that tells that there's no one really in the seat yet the belt is in use.

I have never had the belt slide out of the plastic thing. The passenger belt only makes noise very occasionally, and I can usually turn it a bit to make it stop. I don't buckle it in though.

Tiger, my belts are a PITA to get out, so once they are in, they are not moving. I agree with you on the passenger belt. I have mine laying against where the passenger right shoulder would go, and it tends to stay pretty nicely.

on the passenger side belt, I took a 4 inch long piece of sticky back velcro (the "softer" piece--not the hooked piece") and put it on the plastic trim panel where the seatbelt buckle bounces against and makes noise---no more noise now!
the self adhesive velcro is available at Lowes, Home Depot or places like Walmart---if you can only find the 1 inch wide stuff---use two 4 inch long pieces of it side by side

Someone on here figured out how to solve the pass belt issue. Take the metal part and slip it into the plastic loop that holds the belt. It works great and when a pass gets into the car it is easy for them to get, unlike the fastened belt.

for #2 - I just turn it backwards and slide into the plastic thingy that keeps the belt aligned on the upper side of the seat - will snap a pic when I get in the car later today.

First one's never a problem for me. The second issue is easily corrected by moving the buckle so it can't rattle (e.g. on top of the side bolster or using one of the methods above).

my seatbelt never seems to want to fully retract back into its holder and I find myself now out of habit almost daily grabbing the hanging belt and putting it back inside so I can close the door...talk about annoying. My 2000 prelude did the same

Speaking of seatbelts - I sometimes have a problem with my drivers side belt attempting to kill me - it likes to stand straight out and when I get in the car it stabs me in the back - hurts like hell.

I needed a WAG friendly solution so I loosely zip tied the lower portion of the passenger seat belt to the seat back adjustment lever. No rattle and the buckle and belt is a bit easier to grasp and put on. Also no need to instruct them how to unbuckle and place the buckle in the plastic guide.

I cannot recall the last car we owner where this didn't start happening after a couple of years.

my driver's side belt needs a very funky twist in order to lie flat. it's like they installed one end twisted around. none of the other belts i have EVER used needed this, but it's flipped the wrong way at the tensioner end it seems, or overll just plain wrong. f@#king hate it.
