So i finished at Penn State about a month ago. I currently do not have any job and also am not able to drive to any job, but I can take the train into NYC. Was just looking out to see if anyone knew of anything, and I mean any job out there, that I could do to make money. I am a hard worker and very reliable. I have a decent resume and like I said I am looking for any kind of work I can find. Any help would be great

tough business to get into with this economy but not impossible. A friend of mine just applied to some hotel in Manhattan. Get yourself a headhunter if you can. My cousin manages a restaurant and helped open up a hotel (with bar lounge) for his boss. If anything is open I will let you know but for the time being they are all stocked up.

Jobs are hard to come by right now. When i was hiring awhile ago i got over 100 applications within the 1st day, for a $10/hr menial job. Your best bet would probably be your school's career center. Ive had a lot of friends get jobs this way.

Is your major in demand? i have a friend who did hospitality management. Now she works at shake shack and can't get a better job for the life of her.
