I have stayed at Fontana Village and it is probly one of the best places to stay up there especially if you are bringing significant others. They have a great restaurant in the lodge. I do recommend it. The only issue I can see with the groupon is the 30 day cancellation notice. So if it is going to rain all weekend then you are stuck with the room.

This place does have a "dragon slayers discount" I don't remember exactly what it is but I have used it before. Most of the organized car and bike groups stay here for their events. Check out their website...
