Importing USDM AP2 to Japan...

Hi,

I am moving to Japan soon and am looking for a Japan homlogation/inspection station for imported vehicles (my 05 S2000). I will be moving to Misawa-shi in Tohoku. Does any one know if there are inspection shops available in Hachinohe, Aomori, or Sendai? I will need the hmologation inspection, JCI and registration done preferably in the same area. Right now my only option looks to be in Yokohama, but it is so damn far from Misawa.

^I have no idea, but you sure get moved around a lot! It wasn't that long ago that you were in Alaska. Enjoy your stay in Japan!

Thanks man. I think I have most of everything figured out for the importing process. S2000s are quite expensive compared to most other sports vehicles. I am glad to be taking mine. I ship it out on the 10th. If anybody else ever wants to import their vehicle I should be an expert after this.

I would definitely like to know as i would sometime later like to ship mine to Japan to drive Tsukuba and other tracks...
