The one you’ve all been waiting for (well at least we hope you have!)

The event formerly known as ‘Dads Day Out’ has now evolved into a 2 day supercar extravaganza with something for everyone. With a new year comes and new name and a whole host of extra fun events for you to enjoy.

The website tells you all you need to know but we like making things easy, so a brief précis as follows...

Supercar rides, Helicopter rides, Caterham drift rides, The Sporting Bears, live bands (with some special guest in the pipeline) Hovercraft, Autosolo, a vast array of stands and stalls split into ‘zones’ (Motorsport, Supercar, Classic, Modified as well an interactive, children’s entertainment and manufacturers zone). It’s a 2 day petrolhead playground!

As before we’re inviting selected car clubs to join in with the event. We’re aware that in previous years, being in the car club area just meant discounted entry and parking a bit closer to the event arena. However we’ve listened and changed things around. You still get discounted entry, in fact the deal this year is even better than last year and you still get to be closer to the event than the general public.

In addition to that, we’ve agreed with the Sporting Bears that car club members can join their exclusive group and give rides in their own car along the pre selected Sporting Bears Route (not on the supercar ride circuit) We’ve have also brought back the Autosolo test circuit for you to test yourselves against the clock. Finally the car clubs will be separated into their appropriate zones so you can be right next to the aspects of the show that are likely to be of interest.

Car Club tickets cost £10 per car.
This Includes up to 4 people and your ticket is valid on both the Saturday and Sunday.

Yes, you read that right, £10 gets you, 3 friends, the car into the event on both days.

The only catch is that we need you to be there by 8.30am and for the sake of people coming to the show we’d prefer you to stay all day. We’re aware that one or two may leave due to unforeseen circumstances so we’re not citing health and safety as a shackle to keep you there, we’re not that sort of people. So we’ll be straight, the car club display is an important aspect of the event for those visiting. It may look great in the morning but if 50% are gone by 2pm then the area looks pretty ragged for visitors.

So, here’s the deal, we’re limiting each club to 20 cars. IF you’re happy to commit to staying the whole day then we’d love to have you. If you’re not sure then please start a reserve list.

Finally, this link is only valid for car club display cars, we’re giving you guys a good deal because you help to enhance the event for the public. You’re being charged because it’s a charity fundraising event and we need to cover costs, those who have been before will be aware that £10 is serious value for money. We’d also ask you under the ‘honour‘ system not to pass the link on to people to save them money on entry if they’re not part of the display.

Once again, we’re honest enough to say it’s simply down to the fact that we’re putting on a show and that costs us, we need to raise funds for the charity and normal entry costs are not in the least bit extortionate. So please, keep this to yourself and encourage your friends to come and visit the event too, it’s going to be better than ever!!

Please ask any questions on this thread, we're here to help.

Andy (and Ian),

Wifey and I are up for this. Do I get tickets direct or via S2Ki ??
Do we have a stand?
(It's £15 each on the website for both days - bargain)

I have the Monday and Tuesday off work so planning on having a long weekend in Surrey.

Minvo.

Hi Minvo
Ive PM'd AE to see if the organsisers have contacted him about this as we're listed on the club page that we have a stand.

If so I'm happy to co-ordinte our attendance as I'm only 10 mins away from Dunsfold.

I'd suggest holding off buying tickets until we have a link to the discounted ones, however might be worth buying now if you want the supercar ride tickets.

Not so easy when its a 2 day event but lets see who's up for it. List starting below:

Andy & Maryam (Andy2000 & Snoozenav) - Saturday and Sunday
Steve + 1 (Minvo) - Saturday & Sunday

Hi Andy

I've had no contact with them, I haven't sorted a stand (to my knowledge) so not sure who has! I'd be really pleased if you could pick up with them and co-ordinate :)

Andy,

Drum roll......

I have booked a Hotel in Horsley Park (about 30mins away)!
Once you know more can you e-mail me and let me know how I need to get tickets? Direct or via S2Ki.
Now let's have a look at what I can book during the two days.... (*rubs hands together*) :D

Cheers

Steve

All leave at work is cancelled or changed around from mid June to mid September ... the run up to the main games, etc ... We are not allowed any additional leave and only one day off at a time and they can't even tell me when yet ...

We have just been told it will be odd days but not two days together ... that coupled with compulsory 12 hour days means extremely unlikely to get to this !! If I am not at work I will be knackered ....

Sunday is Druids, so I'll try and make the Saturday, is there a deadline for tickets?

Not sure exactly, Ian. Think it's a couple of weeks before, but don't hold me to that.

If Bachi hasn't replied on here in the next few days I'll chase him up for a response.

No specific deadline other than the couple of weeks that Dan mentioned.

However due to the size of the event and the logistics in arranging all the stands stalls and locations it would really help if tickets could be bought asap so we have an idea of who is coming (and of course it aids the cashflow for the charity for the event which is the important thing)

so basically.....buy it now, it's only a tenner!!!

I'm going to have to back out of the Sunday on this one, I suspect it will be difficult to get a good turn out on Sunday due to the ever popular Druids run, but it would be good to get a few more cars for Saturday. Don't worry, I will make sure Minvo doesnt force you to line up in colour order :D

Saturday

Hmppph.

Sorry to hear that you have pulled out of Sunday. I too would of liked to do the Druids run... Shame they are both on the same day.
I can either blame the organisers of the Supercar event or the planet for making 21st June the soltice.

Hey Andy,

I might be able to do the Saturday too, not sure at the moment but you can sign me up as a possible. I'd love to come, especially as I had to pull out of last years :(
