I just RSVP'd on the main thread. Count me in!! :D

Unless there is a conflict with my work schedule, I will plan to meet in Tulsa at noon that Friday.

Julie, based on your past experience, what time do you think we will be getting back to Harrison on Saturday? If it's late I will stay the night there. If it's early afternoon I may go to Tahlequah & stay at my dad's place. Is there usually a drive (unorganized) on Sunday too?

Thanks!
Chris

:woot: Guessing we'll be back in Harrison somewhere between 5pm and 7pm. Yes, there's usually an unorganized drive home on Sunday too.

Thanks Julie. If that's the case, I will plan to stay Saturday night.

Just curious, is there a scenic (ie: curves!) route planned from Tulsa & Harrison (and back on Sunday) or does the group generally take the highways?

We usually do take a scenic route there and back but this one might be a little different since it's farther out for us. We could take a scenic route or just take Hwy 412 the whole way. Doesn't really matter to me as long as we get to our destinations before dark.

Hey Jules.... I am in on the caravan.... I strongly suggest the same route home (unless you have once again come up with something even more brilliant, which would not surprise me!) as last time.

So the last time I drove my S........ 4 months ago, unless you count starting it to see if the battery is still working. Really looking forward to this trip and catching up with all. Only one month away and only 6 countries to travel to between now and then!

WOOT. Look forward to it!

:woot: ^ Gotchya! At this point, for the Friday drive to Harrison, I'm thinking we might just take Hwy 412 the whole way there, which means we can leave a little later than noon, like maybe 1pm or 2pm (preferably no later than 2pm so we don't get stuck in Fayetteville rush hour traffic :dontdoit:). What say y'all?

:thinker: Which route was that? Oooooh, was it (the reverse of) the usual route via Noel and Roaring River?

Return trip in the fall was Roaring River, Noel and that stretch of road Dirtybird took us on. Marcus and Mike were like two boys in a candy store. ( Actually they were more like two giddy girls but out of respect to Julie and myself, I would not say that.)

Ah, Summerfield Road... how could I forget? That's a pretty accurate description of them actually.

Now hold on one minute.... I think mike and I were just in da zone. It's not easy driving and video recording at the same time......,......,.......,...... Ok you win, we were giddy "manly" girls!

I will (try) to take Friday off too so we can meet at any time. Just need to clean sugar up and will be ready to go. I managed to reschedule my trip to Tobago around the weekend so am keeping fingers crossed the weather will corporate.

Getting excited, but not like a giddy girl mind you! :p
