so im starting to build my turbo S and need a tuner, im in bayside queens and would love a local tuner in case of problems i can just limp over lol. i was gonna have evans in pa do it since he is probably the best, but i hate the thought of having a tuner so far away. Anyone have a tuner they recommend? Thanks

Boost = get it tuned right or forget it. Evans is only 1.5 hours away from queens, it's not that bad. He'll provide you with a base map to get there then he'll get you tuned right.

Its really not that far and he will have your car damn near perfect when you leave. If issues pop up he takes care of them via email, usually within 24 hours.

Yeah that's what Luis (drzchulo147) did. He towed it there. It's obviously safer and maybe easier that way but Jeff's done so many of these, unless you're doing something completely outrageous and never been done before, I'm sure he'll have a base tune you can cruise there with safely. If you do go, leave early so you don't hit any traffic. From your place, it's a straight shot over the whitestone to the GWB then basically I-80 straight. Other than the tolls, you won't even be changing gears once you're cruising.

you'll be fine driving out to evan's shop on a base map tune that he sends you. just drive it normally on your way out and you'll be fine.
