Thought i would try my luck...

Anybody want to sell off there S2k?

It would be fair to say, pretty much everyone i have seen on carsales is rubbish or well over priced.

Not really set on any particular year (AP1 or AP2 doesn't bother)
Price: Post up what your selling it for and we can go from there.
Condition: Let me know how it is and we can talk. Would like a RWC with it if your in Victoria.
State: I am in Victoria, Melbourne but willing to travel pretty much australia wide or organise transport.

This is just a shout out to anybody contemplating selling there S2000, Please give me a heads up, as i have been looking for quite a while now.

Thanks xoz, Just put up some extra details.

I don't want people to not offer there cars, but I am very picky
I would want to buy something owned by a enthusiast, or at least someone who takes pride in there vehicles and looks after them.

Thats why im posting up there ;)

Any particular km you're looking for? modifications yes or no? if you are after an AP1 do you want it with an AP2 glass rear window? Any colours you prefer?

My AP1 isn't for sale i'm sorry, she might have done 133xxx km and have a few chips in the paint here and there but i love her. Best of luck with the hunt, i was looking for an S2K for 3 months before i got mine. I wanted the blue and an owner who had owned it and looked after it, less then 150,000km and though mine was a bit more then i was looking to pay it ticked the important boxes of having been serviced regularly and was in excellent condition. I've dropped the servicing down from every 10,000km/6 months with Honda to 5,000km with high quality fluids just because i like to make sure my cars are looked after. It's a generalisation but i'd be looking for one that hasn't been owned by a P plater, though a friend of mine had his one on his P's and its a gem of a car.

Speak to the owner to see if they want to tell you about the car, that is one of the best ways to tell how the car has been maintained. If the owner engjoys talking about it in more than just a "ohh i'll miss it" way then it's been more then a car to them.

Might try reading the rules around here first.

That said, I see a bit of a contradiction. You want to buy from an enthusiast (someone who sees value in the S2000) and yet you want it cheap?

Dream on.

If you offered me $50K for mine I'd laugh in your face.
