Gday guys.
I suppose I should start off with a bit of a introduction.
Due to the christmas hail storm of 2011 down im melbourne my car has been written off. So now my current ride around town is my DRZ400SM, which is awesome fun! But i still need a car...Which of course, started making me think about my next pride and joy that i will spend countless hours on cleaning, maintaining and loving without hesitation.

I recently started a obsession with the Honda S2000 after somebody had reccomended me one for my next car.
After reading countless threads here on S2ki and other car forums, i really think it is the car for me.
Being somebody who has always looked after there vehicles and had a interest in working on them plus the wealth of knowledge on this forum, i am confident i can learn alot about this car and perform the majority of maintenance myself. Very big bonus, as to me. Its never really a chore, more of hobby

Anyway...


I have been looking for ages to find a nice, clean, Black with red interior Honda S2000.

If you are thinking about selling, please let me know and maybe we can work something out!

I am in Victoria, Northern suburbs of Melbourne (out near Epping/Mill Park).

I will write up some brief points on what I am looking for. Don't be discouraged if its not exactly what i want, The most important thing to me is the condition of the car and how well it has been maintained. So I am still open to what ever you are selling! This would just be my dream s2000..

Black S2000 with Red interior
Pref under 80,000km's. If more thats ok, long as it has a decent service history. Probably willing to go any ammount of km's as long as its got the books!
No Body kits/Big Spoilers unless its been done well
Pref not lowered
Aftermarket Wheels are a bonus, (long as stockies are included)
Aftermarket Exhaust system (would be great if you still had the stock one too!)
Aftermarket Sound System as long as it is done properley and has not been a butcher job! Pref is stock wiring harness is still fully intact.
Straight body - no dints, massive scratch's. So it is presentable. I am not expecting a super bright paintjob, as hey these cars are getting on over 10 years old. So i imagine the paint will be faded if original
Service History (Very important, Doesn't have to be the original log book. As long as you can prove you look after the vehicle your all good! Pretty much being a active member on a car forum should give you any benefit of the doubt)
Pretty much any mods don't bother me as long as you have the original part's.

Hopefully somebody wants to give up there S2000 to a new loving owner

Now please take all the above with a grain of salt. I just want a honest car. Please post/PM me with what ever S2000 you have for sale and we can go from there!

To be honest, the best place to start is Carsales and then hook into the "Just Keeping an eye out thread".
Plenty of opinions are given on car's people are looking at.

There are 19 Black's listed, ranging from an 07 to an 99.
If you can't find an option out of those then there are another 37 odd cars to look at..


And well if you've been looking for ages, your budget is not high 40's as the AP2/07 would have been bought! With a little research, you'll see only the AP'2 are listing for 40 plus.

In fact the 01, with 69clicks for 29500 is a very good buy in comparison to the other black AP1's.

Hey mate!
I am located in Melbourne
My car is awesome. Great paint job, great interior, brand new roof!
Has been looked after well and has always been garaged.
It's as stock apart from V2 air intake. Air intake is gunmental grey, the car is also gunmetal grey with Red/Black interior.
It has done 92,000 k's and it's a 2001 model.
Not sure how much its worth but somewhere around 21,000-24,000? I have not listed it on any website yet but will do this week.
