Assuming it hasn't been done, I would replace the pre-cat O2 sensor. O2 sensors last rated from Bosch 100,000 miles. After than I've heard every thousand miles it loses 2-3% efficiency which leads to poor fuel economy, performance, idle, and the car running rich or lean. AutoZone has the Pre-Cat O2 for 113.00 from Bosch that is an exact fit. I am replacing mine. Im getting bad mileage.

I'm not trying to be a dick. My point is that the exhaust side doesn't crack from over reving like the intake side does. If you over rev your motor enough you'll get valve float and bend your valves first way before you can crack your exhaust side retainers.
And, I'm sorry to be the one to inform you of this, but you don't own this thread, so you should learn to play nice.

I also think a tune up should be in hand. Plugs. Throttle body cleaning. Maybe even a induction flush. I did one on my engine and it feels like it runs better. A clean motor is a happy motor.

+1 If it ain't broke, don't fix it, because you might actually break it

- valve adjustment (and do the retainer swap according to Billmans instructions)
- Replace your TCT with billmans modified (do the core exchange) if and only if you have the ticking symptoms
- diff fluid change
- tranny fluid change
- regrease + sand-down your clutch slave (http://www.s2ki.com/...y-clutch-pedal/)
- regrease your shifter (http://www.s2ki.com/...se-shifter-diy/)
- change your brake fluid
- change your clutch fluid
- oil change
- techron treatment and/or seafoam (before oil change)
- clean your throttle body
- clean your IAC valve
- replace PCV valve
- re/adjust your throttle cable (back into spec)
- alignment + proper tire pressure
- change air filters (cabin + intake)
- brake pads/rotors/etc. as needed
- spark plugs! (use the OEM ones)
- buy HarryD a beer

I have no idea yet I am still debating if I want to attempt to do it on myself with someone that has done it before or just find a shop I can trust ive had some bad experiences with shops in the past so most likely will be attempting it on my own. I have the manual already and will be using the DIY thread.

My seats look much better after I clean + condition them and vinylex the dash and vinyl trim!
