Box..stop by a moving supply store. As for shipping, you could use greyhound but it takes almost twice as long to receive but it's fairly cheap.

You have to wrap up w/e and drop it off at the nearest greyhound station. The receiver would have to pick up the package from their nearest greyhound station. Might wanna find out the locations before you go down this route. I had a bumper shipped to me, the cost was cheap but it took 2 weeks or so.
