Hey island owners..., nice weather is on its way and it's time to get the cars out of storage (for those of you that don't DD), and have a get together.

We have some new island owners that are very anxious to meet up with some other owners and see some other cars.

I would like to propose a meet if others are interested?

Let me know your feelings and I will set something up.

OK I have had a few responses and it appears that most cars will be out of storage by March 21st. I am going to suggest March 25th for the date.

I would like to arrange for a meet somewhere between Victoria and Nanaimo so we can get some of the owners beyond the Malahat out. Then we can cruz to another location and stop for a bit to eat.

I am up for suggestions..., See the first post for a signup list. Who's interested in coming out?

OK here is what I am thinking...,

Parksville and Nanaimo people can get together and meet the Victoria owners at the Tim Hortons in Duncan. That is right across the highway from Discovery Honda in Duncan. If you want to push it a little further, we could meet up at the Country Grocer rest spot in Mill Bay on the intersection of the highway and Cowichan Bay Road. You guys let me know which you prefer. Meeting at Cowichan Bay Rd would allow us to go through Cowichan Bay which is always nice.

We can then head back up to Parksville and have a bit to eat..., Nanaimo or Parksville people can lead on the way up and hopefully take us on some nice roads.

We will take the highway back and over the Malahat to Victoria, dropping off drivers as we go.

Victoria people we can meet up at the Esquimault Lagoon.

How does that sound? Anyone volunteer to lead as we head to Parksville?
