Blimey. That little lot isn't gonna be cheap.

Although I should imagine there are some economies of scale for the labour charge doing it all in one go.

Not yet, we will see what we can do first with this kit, would be nice to get the key to adjust the timing as well to stop overlapping. this might be the next stage if he feel he need more power.

IIRC Biker1 (Nigel) was playing around with this quite a few years ago.

Never seen any posts on how he got on :(

Must ask him, but i don't really think he would see any benefit from altering either the exhaust or intake - its likely setup as best it can for N/A unless he had some serious mods, scavenging is most important here and i think the overlap will be bang on.

A lot more important on SC.

I know you have aftermarket cams, but it would definitely yield a good amount power/torque for a relatively small price, the only negative i can see is hooter exhaust - they dont mention this on the other side of the pond :thumbdn: still slightly richer mixture could help that.

My mates with other rodded up turbo cars all swear EGT observation is totally essential. Why arent the yanks using this in our top end S builds?

You should at least have a look at it on a dyno but turbos will be hotter than an sc.

Looks sweet! Will be interesting to see what its pushing when completed!

On another note, given the cost of the above - the SR20 engine seems to be a popular swap as the tuning potential for that engine is greater and cheaper! Your thoughts?

Yeah but Honda is a Honda, should have the Honda heart not from the Nissan. If you thinking that way the RX7 engine is much lighter and easier to make a lot of power.

When a standard block will push out double the factory output, who in their right mind would spend the money on a replacement block? Complete waste of money.
