Acura techies Timing chain or belt

hit 100K on my TL-S, time to change the timing belt, i thought it was actually a timing chain but the dealer no it's a belt? What kind of belt and how is that better than a chain? Just curiouse.

There definately is a Timing Belt on that 3.5 TL-S! Stick with the Honda parts...cant go wrong

Yup, and make sure they replace the water pump as well because if it fails shortly after you replace the timing belt you will have to pay all that labor all over again to replace it, plus it will ruin the new belt if coolant gets on it.
Water pump is driven by the timing belt so they should only add .3 labor onto the bill. Better safe than sorry.

Hey man, I have an 06 TL. I had Hamilton Honda do my 105k service for a VERY reasonable price. I'd definitely check them out.
