Bloody headlight washers. Every time I wash my windows, without fail, lights on or off, the headlight washers spray the lights. It is really starting to pi$$ me off. I have had a search on here and can see that allot of MY04 cars can have a conversion done so that they only work with the lights on? I have an MY05 so is this possible to do on mine?. I don’t really want to pull the fuse as I have heard that cars with HID lights need to have washers by law. Is this true?
I can’t understand why Honda would put a button in the cab to make the headlight washers work and then link it with the stalk as well.
Is there a way to fit some sort of resistor/delay mechanism to make the lamp washers come on after 5 or so seconds holding the stalk

Like I have said I have done a search on here but can’t really find any definitive answers

Any help will be greatly appreciated

Thanks

Take the fuse out, its a 10 second job! In terms of legalities I have deleted my headlight washers and my friend who is a certified MOT tester said that they should have washers but its not a definitive MOT failure even with the newly introduced regulations, it just depends on how fussy the MOT tester is. My mate is pretty anal with MOT testing even though he's my mate he makes me put the cat back on and the proper size front number plate etc...so he doesn't waiver things just cos he's a friend.

According to the bible that is the Urban Dictionary!
FLOPPY
"When one cannot get hard when a girl is trying to give said man a blowjob.
When Taylor got on her knees, she noticed Ben was still floppy."
SPIKEY
"Like the term horny, when you feel the urge to have sex really badly. Spikey is derived from the sharp pointy horns of a devil.
I started kissing my girlfriend Michelle all over her body and we both got extremely spikey."
I don't like change, I'm still calling you Spykee or Spike for short :)

The official line for the MOT is that if they are there, they have to work.

If they aren't there... ;)

I have an 04 and your right it's bloody annoying. I've taken the fuse out of mine which is fine :-) i had heard of the conversion too. Is this a free change if I take it to my dealer or are they goin to charge me. If its free may aswell have it done :-)
