for those who are looking for the non oem equivalent its $12 on Amazon

Good find! No need for OEM on this part given the recommended intervals IMO.

Wow, and I thought mine was bad... Anyway, I went and bought the OEM filter at honda the other day and they tried to charge me $29.95 for the filter. I called BS on it and talked to the guy and managed to get the price down to 20.82 total. Not to bad of a price considering it's oem and don't have to wait for it to arrive. So please, don't let the dealer charge you that much if you don't want to get a non oem filter and and wait for shipping.

actually compared the oem to replacement... they are pretty much exactly the same oem just a little bit thicker on the filter area.

They usually go bad around 15k to 20k miles... Then again it also depends where you drive and how often your blower is on..

I have two filters, the oem and a Wix. When I switch them out I wash the dirty one and let it dry then put it in the Wix box. I do this every 6 months. We drive with the top down 95% of the time so all the filter has to do is keep the big stuff out of the air ducts.

I did this as the very first thing I changed out when I got the car 6 months ago. It looked exactly like Vu's old filter :D
