For anyone from Metro that been to Vegas any suggestions on what to do where to go. Were leaving tomorrow afternoon and coming back Monday. Nine of us going and staying at Planet Hollywood. So far were going to Surrendor on Friday and we def want to take a trip to the Grand Canyon at some point during the day. Im guessing the first night we'll wander the streets and bar hop. Any suggestions on where to go or what to check out?!?!

Thanks

just a heads up, the grand canyon is far from vegas. it'll take a whole day with a lot of driving.

when i went, sept 09, we stayed at the aria. their club is called haze. its pretty good. there are so many clubs there.

Are the pools open yet? I know they close for a while.

I went back in August. Pool parties are great during the day. Rehab pool party is Sunday. Cosmo pool party was sat (or wet republic on sat)
Umm Ditch Fridays was fun at The palms
But you gotta get to these places early! (if these parties are even going on, they fill up and close the doors quickly!!)

Marquee at the Cosmo is a hot spot at night. Super super expensive. Again get there early they will most likely not let 9 guys in, so don't try and go together. Tables were $5k minimum I believe?
Tao is supposedly good on thurs nights

Still in the 30s at night out there 60s maybe 70s in the day so not sure the pools are open.

I did "Dig This" where you rent construction equipment, dig holes etc. very cool. Also there is a drift place out there but i never made it over.
Took my dog to the vet to get neutered, they call it the AP2 conversion, looks the same but the balls are gone.

Just a fun fact, you can't take a cab off the street, they are prohibited by law to pick anyone up that flags down a cab. You have to be in front of a hotel, casino, airport, etc..

Also, for to and from the airport, they are not allowed to get on the freeway. The freeway actually increases your fare from 5-10 dollars and they can be ticketed $600 for this.

Spearmint Rhino. Go there.

And don't go there by cab. Get a limo there. If you are a group of 9 guys, someone will offer it to you as you are walking around the casinos. It's legit and free. They'll even give you a bottle of alcohol for the ride there. They make their money on the amount of people they bring in so if you're going to go anyway, might as well go in style. You will still pay cover at the door or may have discounted admission. Sapphire is another nice strip club. Supposedly it's the largest in the US but I never found it to be as fun as Spearmint Rhino. I'm going to try and convince my girlfriend to go with me...wish me luck. Oh, and if you want, I'll try to get that guy that hooked us up with the limo if you want. I know someone has it saved in their phone.

I'll be at the Wynn.

For my friends bachelor party, we ended up somewhere in the desert with ATVs as well. It was a good time. If you guys are into that, I'd recommend it. It's quite a drive so I'd recommend renting a car for this one as it's only $14-20 a day and way cheaper than a cab. There are some shooting ranges on the outskirts of town as well.

Definitely eat at In and Out. Google what to ask for as there is a "secret" menu. Not very secret but it's not listed on their overhead.

I guess a cab driver felt bad for how drunk me and my boy were cuz we were stumbling down the strip and he pulled over and told us to get in quickly lmao

Enjoy your time there.

When I went I did the Grand Canyon Tour and took a helicopter ride to the bottom. This is more naturey stuff. I left at 6 AM and got back at 7 PM. Still plenty of time to do stuff. You fill your day with the nature and appreciation side of things and then at night you can let loose a bit.

-Plenty of shows to watch: I saw Terry Fator but there's plenty of other stuff I heard O was great.
-You can also view the Imperial Car Collection it's free and fast and I figure most of us like cars because we are on S2ki.
-Go shooting at the shooting range
-If you guys have the guts to do it zipline on the strip lol

If you guys aren't already upgraded give this a shot. When you check in sandwich a 20 dollar bill in between your license and CC and see if you can get a upgrade or at least a better view. Usually they'll do it if rooms are available and if nothing is available you get your 20 back. No shame JUST DO IT.

Plenty of great places to eat. Definitely hit up the Wynn Buffett. I also liked Burger Bar there very much. Really depends on what kind of food you guys are into. Plenty of stuff to do in Vegas.
