Hello Everyone,

I have a quick question regard about the oem airbox. I have an ap2 2004 and my airbox is damaged but I have a spare on from ap2 2006 from a friend. I went and take at look on here #3 as you can see the part is 17205-pcx-000 but for the 2006-2009 part number is 17205-pzx-000. My questions would be will the 2006 oem air box fit my 2004? and how come the part number are different? Please any help would be appreciated.

I think the box is the same but the rubber tube from the t/b to the the air filter is different on the '06.
Here are some pic's from my '06 - see where I put the air filter gauge, it had nothing there from the factory.

the clips that normally hold the vacuum lines on the back of the air box are missing on 06+, if you are running an air pump then you will have to run your hoses differently. You likely won't have the air control solenoid mounting hole/clip on the air box either.
