Default s2knoob's Turbo Build

First want to say thanks to Realstreet for the turbo, wastegates and clutch and to all the other members who I bought and sold stuff to make this possible.

Started off with a Greddy kit and grew bored with it like most of us do.

Last fall I sold the Greddy hotside and began gathering parts for the new build. I got a really good deal on a PLM turbo manifold so I'm going to try it out and see what happens. I know most of members here dislike fake or replica parts but for the price I got it for I'm not losing much if it dosen't work out. Goal for my build is to have a reliable 400-450 whp on pump gas and 500-600 whp on E85 later next year or so after I get the rest of the drivetrain sorted out.

The PLM manifold is basically a copy of the AFI twinscroll except it uses a T3 flange instead of a T4. Really had no problems fitting the manifold at all. I did run into a problem when I mounted the turbo however. The compressor housing only had about 1mm of clerance from the crossmember so I broke out the dremel and got to work. Another problem I ran into was with the down pipe. All T3 Precision turbos only come with a 2.5inch vband and the PLM downpipe is 3inch; so I will have to get a new flange welded onto the downpipe. Waiting on a few more parts for the oil feed and drain and I still have to get the hotside intercooler piping made along with the dump tubes but it should all be finished by the end of March. (hopefully)

Definitely going to be a tight fit. I'll have all my fittings next week sometime and I'll post what I come up with.

Those are the MV-R springs, we are both on MV-S wastegates.. DO NOT USE THAT CHART FOR MVS..
