Yeah, that's generally my opinion, too. The S is the first and only convertible my wife or I have ever owned, and while a driving enthusiast would rightly argue that the additional rigidity of the fixed roof means a better chassis, it's not enough of a margin to make a difference for me. I really like the convertible aspect of the S2000.

Looks sharp in that color too... I don't think I would want to own one still, but I would like to drive one...

I definitely agree there. I'm hoping that driving into the Subaru/Scion dealership in an S2000 will give me enough credibility for a test drive, even if I have no intention of buying one.

And after the test drive, I'll say "Swap the roof for a turbo, and you'd have a deal!"
