NA to supercharged to Turbo with added NOS
My love for the s2000 started over 10 years ago when my dad brought one new since then I,ve had a couple of jap cars R33 gtr and 200sx which were both fun. I've owed a sapphire cosworth for some years now which I never drive its just for collection but that's fun for the once yearly drive I have in it.
Anyway back to the S, as this is just a weekend car I have time to play around and mod it. I started off with the basics exhaust and Decat, braided brake lines and a some red stuff pads(just a cheap one as the other pads were in a bad state) but then in November I decided to get a PW:JDM intake then had it mapped by Mase in January, it made 215 whp at Surrey rolling road. Whilst I was fitting the intake I fitted a large oil cooler with thermostatic sandwich plate, some chassis braces and I made a new exhaust manifold at work.
After it was mapped I wasn't quite happy with it and needed more power. I looked at having a engine built but the cost and time frame wasn't good enough so decided to order a TTS full race charger. I had a 3inch exhaust made that splits into 2 2.5" with oval pipes so it looks as standard as possible this should help with flow and my OCD to get oval pipes back on her. I fitted the charger over the weekend and it's going to be mapped by my local tuner on Thursday so see what it puts out. I put it on his rolling road a couple of weeks ago and it put out 225bhp (his rolling road is very accurate as I have had a few of my dads and my cars on there and they read the standard power they should, well within 2bhp) to get a base line figure.
I will wait and see what boost I can run, I have got the bung with the charger which is meant to do 12psi and without its meant to do 18psi. I have machined up another bung that's inbetween so hoping for 15psi so will see what it's best with. I will not run water meth as it just doesn't last long enough. What do people think the max psi should be with v-power!?
Anyway time for some pics
Will put a picture up of the exhaust tomorrow.

Sounds a familar story
There isn't a max psi as such with vpower - all that does it determine how far you can push the timing without detonation. You will not have to retard the timing as much with vpower due to its higher octane rating which equals power.

Yeah that's cool, there is no point in running 18psi and having to retard the timing so much that you only gain a small amount over 15psi of boost. Wait and see then. My tuner will have the choice.

My friend has run 18psi 446whp on that kit for 2 years as a DD you dont live at 9000 rpm .My gt3076 had a 18psi tune they found no problems with the psi .The ownly problems they have found with the f20 is with e85 and 30psi the boost can lift the head and pop a bung in the cooling system in the head ,but that was 0ver 700whp and rpms up to 11000.The ownly thing that kills this engine is a bad tune and lack of servicing go for it your tuner will make sure its safe if hes any good
