Default Exhaust mod

Came across this on the z4 forum, simple and apparently makes the stock back boxes sound better, could be a solution for the S

Interesting, a few thoughts:

- What effect, if any, would this have on MOT testing?
- What implications, if any, would this have on declaring 'modifications' to the insurance company?

benb89 - let us know how this goes if you go ahead with it. Pics and video would be great , along with any associated costs incurred.

It all comes after the cat so wont affect MOTs/emissions or anything. Its just bypassing the last silencers a bit.

You could tell your insurance company you have a custom exhaust, didn't cost anything extra when I declared mine. They'd never notice/care/anything if you didn't though.

Videos before and after showing the audible differences [i.e. at idle, revving] would be great, if possible .
