If anyone's interested this is what the inside of the rear cans look like. I think you could easily do away with a lot of those internals and put a dog leg section of pipe in place

Im unsure which exhaust to 'bastardise' my current japspeed or the standard system? Also might i mention i dont have a cat in place either

Which ever is cheaper and easier to replace I guess?

I'd be very interested in this. I was looking at getting hold of a decat pipe for my S2K but after too many reports of it making no difference to a standard exhaust system I didn't bother. I don't want to go down the route of buying a whole new exhaust system really so this idea is a great one.

I am amongst the many others who can't wait to see the out come of your exhausts Ben, as I'm sure many of us will follow suit.

If you can record before and after videos, it'll be difference that is key really, so it won't matter you have a decat pipe

Looks interesting, but i really cannot see how that cant make a massive difference to noise, quite incredible really... but i guess all you have essentially done is bypassed say 25% of the noise straight out of the tailpipe with no silencing.

I'll gladly modify someone's exhaust at work if there are any guinea pigs!

I'm going to get around to making 2 custom silencers for mine within the next few weeks so may contemplate butchering one of my standard exhausts.

thats great!! really looking forward to this! I do like the sound of the OEM exhaust its just a shame its not louder, hopefully this might help out a bit
