Default UK Exhaust Mod

Here is the UK exhaust mod that was discussed at the Smash-Burger meet, very easy to do or to undo if you don't like it(I've not read about any S owner that did not like it).

I wonder how much different it will sound vs the CR's exhaust? The CR exhaust lacks the internal loops found on the AP2.
I know the CR is slightly deeper in the rumble. But its barely noticable.

It will sound so much better than the CR exhaust................................. j/k
We won't know how it sounds till someone does this to there mufflers.
And then that gives us a reason to have another meet, right.

I think I would do the 28mm to, from what I've read the difference between the 22mm and stock is not to much. While the 28mm gives it just a little bit more(than the 22mm) loudness at WOT and a nice tone at cruise.

Kidding aside, I hope it does. Otherwise that's too much work for such a minor sound change. I like the sound of my car but it could be just a tad louder. Your welcome to check it out at the next meet.

I love my CR but I don't think it is the end-all-be-all S2000, I only pretend that it is . S2000 is such a fun well built car from the get go no matter the variant.
But I agree they muted the sound a bit too much. Especially if you go catch that episode of Jay's Garage with his restored Honda SM600. You can definitely hear the family resemblance in the 'S' cars ..but dang did that SM600 sound so much more epic. I guess back in a day when we were less concerned about offending sensitive souls with the noise pollution of our cars.

Nice I've been wanting to keep my stock exhaust but get a little more sound. I was thinking 30mm from the videos but damn that 45mm sounds mean as hell.

I picked up a stock ap2 exhaust so i don't have to mess with my original. i got 1.5 inches (38mm) its going to be welded in today, can't wait to hear it

tho the exhaust i got has no muffler tips n the brackets r shaved of, anyone has any suggestions to what kind of tip i should put on there? nothing ricey, want something aggressive n clean looking like 2010 stis maybe.
