Default Gernzhaust Group Buy (Gern-Pipe + Dingle)

If you have been following my thread in the Modifications and Parts sub-forum (titled It looks fast too), then you should know that I have spent thousands of hours over the last 2+ years developing the most advanced exhaust system ever put on an S2000. That work resulted in a patent application (non-S2000 specific), which should be granted in the next few months. Therefore, I need to clarity up front that this product has a Patent Pending. Since the S2000 is no longer in production, I believe the market for a product like this will not be profitable enough for continued production, so these may be the last units ever produced.

Description:
I originally planned to offer this product as a mid-pipe alone, for people to retrofit their existing exhaust systems. However, after many requests for a full system, I am now offering a "Dingle" axle-back to complete the system. The combination of the Gern-Pipe and Dingle is amazing. It has virtually zero drone, and is only loud when you want it to be. While cruising, most people would think it's no louder than stock. The expansion chamber contains an integrated High Flow Catalytic Converter, which is fully functional and is "49 state legal". The integration of the HFC core after the expansion chamber results in large gains in mid-range torque that actually exceeds those from a conventional "test pipe".

Note: That the system comes without tips, since it is designed to use the OEM AP1 or AP2 tips.

The performance gains from this product are most evident when combined with a lower VTEC engagement (retune), but it can be used with the stock tune as well. All of the cars that I have tuned with this mid-pipe achieved gains with VTEC engagement set all the way down to 3600 - 3800 RPMs, As a bonus, I will do a free eTune for all buyers that have a FlashPro or plan to buy a FlashPro in the near future.

To Purchase:
I do not have a company website or "store" yet, so you will need to send me a PM to get PayPal information to secure your unit. I am ordering the material to build 25 mid-pipes now, and expect to start shipping them in the middle of July.

Pricing includes Paypal fees and shipping to the contiguous 48 states
$1199 - Gern-Pipe alone
$1999 - Full System (Gern-Pipe + Dingle)

Dyno Results:
Below are DynoJet plots from a totally stock '08 AP2. The runs were done on the same dyno, but on different days. The only difference was the exhaust.

Thanks for getting this started. As for the payment, do you need it in full or would a deposit be fine for the time being?

I will consider taking partial payment if I haven't sold all 13 units by the end of this week, but I really don't want to do that. I'm so financially upside down on this project that I really am relying on the "group buy" business model in order to pay for the material an fabrication costs. Even though the $1200 price tag might make you think I'm making a lot of profit, I'm really doing just slightly better than breaking even.

BTW, I've already received payment for 3 units, and based on PMs, I believe 2 more payments are in the works. At this pace, I may be sold out in a couple days. />
