Honda MTF - $7/qt
I have a total of 6 quarts available, need to clear out the garage of extras.

Car Ramps - $20
Don't need these anymore since they won't fit the S.

AP1 Bra & Hood Cover - Free!
This came from gloffer's garage. I was originally going to try and fit it to my car for track events, but I've opted for tape jobs instead. Free to a good home!

Midsize Car Cover - Free!
No pics of this, but it's a generic indoor/outdoor car cover from Costco, about 4 years old, used maybe 10 days outside total. Will need a trip through the washing machine, but in good condition otherwise. Comes with two straps to clip under car.

That's interesting that your radar detector comes with a soft carrying case (at least that's what it looks like). Mine has a hard case for it, like below:

Either way, I can confirm that the suction sucks, I've had mine fall off several times. I would also recommend hard wiring, due to the location of our cigarette lighter.

GLWS!

I forgot to give you the side view mirror bras, so if anyone want's those, they're also free as long as you promise to use them at least once.

I just picked up the newer 8500 x50 "black" and it has the soft case as well. I think this "silver" edition is one of the later model production ones. Looking at the site this one can interface with Escort Live, and it also has POP & TSR in the firmware. Also, the new "black" edition is a heck of a lot lighter, seems they did a huge improvement on the internals.

Have you seen the detector mount that I have in the car? Best mod I've ever done.

I don't think I've seen your mount. I just bought a visor one and figured that would work. What exactly is the POP mode?

blendmount.com - admittedly its pricey, but its totally solid. the tradeoff between mounting low vs high, is that higher up gets you better radar coverage, and lower on the windshield gives you better laser coverage. but since the s is really low profile it doesn't seem to matter too much. I also have it hardwired thru the a-pillar down to the driver side kickplate & fuse box, totally slick look. the detector is a bit more visible, but if an LEO pulls you over, they're gonna see it anyway. one other consideration is if the windshield has a tinted top edge, sometimes this will block out signal.

POP is an instant-on radar feature that they send short bursts of signal instead of keeping the gun on all the time. according to escort, enabling POP will give more falses since it increases sensitivity. reportely they aren't supposed to issue citations with POP only, they have to switch to full radar (described in the escort user manual). TSR is traffic signal rejection, some places are starting to use radar to monitor traffic flow, usually will come up as a random full alert then taper off immediately. I have only run into this a couple times out here so i usually leave it off.
