European Civic Type-R gets the green light to be sold in Japan

Japanese Honda lovers will be very excited with this one. The European Civic Type-R hatchback will finally be sold also in Japan, which happens to be the third country following Australia and South Africa that will receive that particular model. The three door Civic Type-R is built in United Kingdom and is equipped with a 2.0 liter engine. Needless to say, that this is a natural aspirated engine that gives 201 horse power at 7,800 rpm. It is worth to mention, that Honda’s decision to import the latest European Civic Type-R will also be a good reason to see the 240 horsepower Mugen Type-R concept in production.
