If you want to find your twin, S2KI is the place to be!
For nearly a decade S2KI has been the most comprehensive S2000 community on the Web, bringing many S2000 owners together from across the globe to correspond and share their love for the S2000, with many events and meets organized both locally and internationally. In many ways S2KI has managed to shrink the wide world into a smaller global community for like-minded individuals, no matter where they may be.
Although produced in limited numbers and options around the world, most S2000s are modified and customized by each owner in their own way, giving each S2000 has its own unique presence among others. Despite this individuality, some owners wonder if there is a “twin” S out there and if they’ll ever meet.
One member, s2k_636, a proud owner of a Silverstone S2000, finally saw his S2000’s twin here at S2ki, a car owned by a local member from UMW, identical from paint to the exterior mods he could see. That other owner (screen name Clean on the boards) also took note of their cars similarities and the two decided to meet in person.
With their two cars parked next to each other, they stared for a moment and wondered: “Is this my S2000 I see right in front of my eyes?” The cars were the same color for sure, but the similarities continued with the modifications they had selected for their cars.
From OEM lips to aftermarket wheels, and even factory hard tops, the two clearly had similar taste in customizing their cars.
The meet culminated in a quick photoshoot. We would like to thank them for sharing this to the rest of the community, and marvel how S2KI can bring people together to create and share such experiences.
