I saw a similar color car years ago in Birmingham with a custom built front mounted turbo manifold and a mugen top.

I remember seeing the same car in person at the Chattanooga SESM, I don't know if the turbo was still installed.

That guy lived in Auburn. The car is currently for sale at Classic Buick In Montgomery for $13,991 IIRC.

I want to say a Birmingham guy built it years ago and it was painted by Goolsby. The last time it sold it was practically a shell with a ton of oddball parts.

^ Yeah, looks like the Goolsby Crx in the pics as well. I remember it being in Super Street in the early 2000's, I believe the original owner's name was Bly Gravlee?

Yep, just googled it! If it is the same car, it's been repainted from the original Goolsby Orange.
