Hey everyone. I've been living in Hoover for a few years but just now brought my S2000 down here. I was at the show in McCalla yesterday and attend cars and coffee fairly often. It's a 2000 with 84k miles that I purchased in 07 with only 17k on it. Here's a list of mods, all work done by me except paint.
- Top Secret front bumper
- Carbon hood
- Spoon Hardtop
- Volk LE-28 wheels
- 3" header back exhaust with vibrant muffler
- K&N intake
- KW variant 3 coilovers
- ACT HD PP, 6 puck sprung disk, prolite flywheel
- Goodridge stainless brake hoses
- Solid diff mounts
- Works Bell quick release steering hub
- Momo steering wheel
- ARC titanium shift knob
- MAJOR weight reduction. Removed AC and all lines/hoses, radio, speakers, interior, soft top and motors, coolant lines running around TB and intake manifold, heater core, evap system including charcoal canister, airbags and controller, and pulled metal strips off the transmission tunnel.

Next I have to pull the dash and remove all the excess wiring that went to everything I've already removed. Next summer it will be getting a turbo which is why I haven't done much to the motor yet.

Roll tide, we have a group of S2000 that will be at the Barbers Indy races for this weekend. I think Mark the organizer is looking for a back up car for the 30 that get to parade lap with an Indy driver on Sunday just before the race. This is an opportunity of a lifetime. I have 6 Indy car driver signatures on my visors from doing this event over the years. PM me if you are interested and would like to gets tickets for free. Of course, the s2000 will need to be in prime shape, and clean. These tickets include parking in the car coral with 30 other s2000. By far this is the best event in Birmingham and the best way to meet fellow drivers.
