Default New Car. No more S2000 - 2019 Update!

Hey guys, I just wanted to let you guys know that I traded in my 97 Accord and my 02 S2000 for a brand new Honda Civic Hybrid with Navi. I really miss my S2000, but having 2 cars was killing me. I lowered my overall car payment, I lowered my insurance rates, I lowered my gas consumption and I get a $2100 tax credit. I hope I can get another S someday, but for now it was the right thing to do. I will see you guys around. Also, my 2002 S2000 is at Brannon Honda in Birmingham if anyone is interested in a very well maintained car. They gave me $13500 on it for trade in. (just so you can haggle the price)

Corey

Went from a great handling car with power to a gutless wonder with fair handling, but at least you are getting out of debt which is worth it in the long run.

ummm, I think it was a great decision. The new civics are nothing to laugh at. He'll not be racing, but riding comfortably with amazingly good gas mileage while doing little to no maintanance on his car for a Long time.

THUMBS UP for good decision-making.

I too came out better with my trade-in.

Didnt say it was a bad one. I traded an 07 Si coupe for my S2K so I know how good Civics are, but they dont handle near as well of course due to being FWD. They are slower to, just stating the facts, not bashing him for getting a hybrid if thats the way it came across.
