Update:
I learned how to solder and repaired about 14 wires I cut on the cabin harness to seperate it from the engine harness. (would later find out that I could have simply de-pinned the plug) The two harnesses were spliced together to make the Obd2b harnesses work with the Obd2a motor. This was pre conversion harness era.
Some of the existing soldered connections i ended up repairing.

Getting close to completion, so, I decided to throw some other things on the list. I wanted the darker look of the CTR headlights, but, didn't want to spend $400 + on them at this time. Didn't want to go ebay, though they would have probably been fine for my application. I painted my stock headlights and amber reflectors with Tamiya smoked model car paint and then wet sanded and polished them.

Decided I would tuck my headlight harness while I'm learning how to do things for the first time and I have a spare harness in case it doesn't work out.
I removed the loom and tape all the way back to the firewall grommet.
De-pinned the plugs need and re-loomed/taped and routed as necessary.
Found grommets at Lowe's/Autozone to fit in the holes.
You can see where I drilled a hole between the grommet and plug and added a zip tie clip here.
Routed the wiring under the headlights and anywhere there was a rub point, I wrapped the loom with a thick linerless rubber tape and covered with electrical tape.
I ended up wrapping the places where I put the zip ties with the linerless tape to keep it from cutting through.
This corner will be pretty much the only visible wiring after the tuck.
Not too crazy about this mod as I will have a lot of chassis twisting and there are a lot of rub spots. I am pretty meticulous and think have it setup where there won't be any issues, but, I will do periodic inspections on these areas to make sure they are ok.
