Happy New Year! C&C still at Books-A-Million? I'll probably bring the GTI (since it has heated seats and the S doesn't, lol).

Yes, still at Books-A-Million, but will be scorned and treated as a leper if you show up in a VW.

Happy new year!

I was able to get some work done to the hatch over the holidays. Finally got the sound deadining and firewall mat removed and weighed @ 31lbs. Also, did a cold compression check on the B18C yesterday @ 218, 221, 219, 220. Will be working on pulling the motor next chance I get.

I was pretty happy with those results! I feel safe running it as is...Though, I'll probably be using the good ol' B16A for the next year or two. I feel like I still have a good bit of learning to do in the lower power range. However, I am considering installing the R transmission w/ LSD and 4.7 FD on the B16A.

Will sit on an engine stand for a time, while I accumulate maintenance parts. May even add a mild cam etc... when the time comes...Pretty much just pulling it and forgetting about it for a while.

I plan to be there, John. Look forward to seeing you and other S2000 folks. Easy with the scorn - I'll also be in a VW, albeit a glorified Bug.

Happy New Year to all!
