LOL Will I get even more scorn if I bought a GTI with the flappy paddles? Everyone makes such a big deal about DCTs, so I figured I'd try it out and see if VAG might reduce my hatred of auto gearboxes...

At least I won't feel so lonely in my shame, hehe.

I'm in the need of a B18C block to sleeve, if you want to trade dollars for it.

I do not! I want to have a little torque one day! Are you looking for a Type-R specific block or will any of the B18C variations work?

I'll keep my eye out. I see a good bit of Gsr blocks pop up, but, not R's.

A B18C1 is a GSR, the C5 is ITR. I’m looking for a C1, would prefer a complete short block or long block if the price was close. A bare block will need to many small bits a pieces to complete or swap from my old engine for my liking.

The B18C stamp is only found on the JDM GSR or ITR blocks. I'll keep my eye out for some C1's for you, I regularly see some pop up on facebook/craigslist etc...
