Anyone in Charleston WV or nearby?
I have met one member from the area but I've recently seen a few S2000's that I haven't noticed before. Sooo, who's in the Charleston WV area? I figured maybe we could chat and exchange favorite driving roads, plus I like to tinker so if anyone has issues with thier S and needs a hand or something.

Haha, not a lot of S2000's in town but I have seen probably 6-8. I have seen a red stock looking Ap1, maybe its you. Is yours stock now or with the blacks wheels as in your avitar?
I've been to the Tail of the Dragon meet a couple of times and some of us are loosely planning a meet in Elkins later this year. I'll keep you posted when we finalize dates.

Haven’t had much of a chance yet. Been wanting to.
I’ve been wanting to get out and find some back roads. Been stuck on mandatory OT at work. Finally got a break now hopefully so planning to soon. I know there are some good ones around just wondered about the conditions of the roads. I know so many roads around here are pretty beat up. Will have to hit some of them ASAP. The car is definitely a lot of fun drive anywhere. Im all stock ap1 with ap2 stock wheel tire setup at the moment.

We can meet up one weekend if you'd like and I can show you some good roads. I've driven all over the state in the last two years since i bought the car. The S2000 makes you more aware of potholes...lol. A lot of the roads around town are pretty beat up. RT60 through Hawks nest and Rainelle is decent but Rainelle mountain is in bad shape. There are better ones though. If you have a long day to spend or even an overnight I highly recommend 'Back of the Dragon' in VA. It runs 32 miles from Tazewell to Marion and is beautiful, full of curves and well paved. Tons of great roads in that area. Also I think its still Rt 16 from Marion to Abingdon past Grayson Highlands state park but its awesome too. Closer to home, Rt 16 north from around Clay to Ellensboro is super fun. You can hang a right on 47 at some point and go to Weston on a really twisty mountain pass. Its my favorite road with an hour from here. A few rough spots but 90% of it is in good shape. Its a blast.

For sure. Sounds like a lot of fun. I should be free most weekends for a while now. Fingers crossed lol. I’ll message you my email or something so we can figure out a day and time. I need to put some miles on it while the weather is nice. I bought it at 36k miles and have only got to put about 500miles or so on since driving it back here from NC in April.
