New Search, New Sponsor Forums
 

Today I put the final touches on a few enhancements and did a lot of behind-the-scenes work to prepare the site for additional future upgrades. More notable is perhaps this forum you are reading. We will be posting notices and announcements here so we recommend you subscribe to this forum so you are made aware of activities on the site and in the community (including notices of future maintenance, upgrades and downtime). This is for official site announcements only so when you see something new it's probably important and deserves to be read.

In addition to this new forum we have divided the Sponsor GB and Promotions forum into a number of separate forums arranged topically. Hopefully this new arrangement will make it easier to find what you are looking for. We may add additional categories as necessary in the future.

We have a new search engine! It's been a long time coming and is by no means perfect at the moment but I'll be continuing to improve it over time.

Please enjoy the new setup and if you have comments or questions please port them in the site info forum.

Works EXTREMELY well!!! Just spent 45 min searching through gobs of ACCURATE results from 1 search whereas I used to spend 5 min looking through results which were hardly related to what I would search for.

Excellent, I'm glad it's working well for you. I've still got more to do on it to speed it up a little and do a better job of handling errors but it's a start.

One req.... can you make the Search link BIGGER? Say like next to Home, Forums, Gallery etc - that size? I think the link is a bit lost up by MyS2K

I noticed that the Sponsor Directory is up and running, but I'd like to suggest that you have a link to each sponsors website on that page.

Unless, of course, it's already in the works, and you can disregard my request. :)
