Topic Starter and Topic Prefixes
 

Hi S2KI'ers, I've added a couple of new things to the site today.

Topic Starter

When the starter of a topic replies within the topic you will see "TOPIC STARTER" in green above their avatar. I'll reply to this topic so you can see an example. This will make it a little easier to identify replies by the original poster (OP), especially when you aren't looking at the first page.

Topic Prefixes

This one is something of an experiment and we aren't sure where we are going with it but when you post a new topic in the Site Info forum you will see an option to set a prefix for the topic. The intent is to make it easier to visually sort topics by content. For example, people reporting errors or problems with the site can prefix the topic as a "Problem". Those asking questions about the site or how to use a feature can prefix with "Question".

When the problem is fixed or the question answered the starter or an admin can then reset the prefix to "Resolved" or "Answered".
