Default Unscheduled downtime later today

I will be taking the site offline later today (approx 8PM EST) for a few hours to restore some data that was inadvertently erased. I'm unsure of exactly how long the restore will take and I apologize for any inconvenience this may cause.

The restore is taking a lot longer than I thought. It looks like this will have to happen tomorrow instead.

Most of the work is offline but that work is taking a huge amount of time to complete. I'm hoping that it will be done by 8PM EDT but I can't guarantee it. As soon as I'm ready I'll be taking the site down to boot the restored database because I need to get a large number of deleted users accounts back online. 8PM is just a guess. It might be 11PM or it might be sometime tomorrow if I can't speed this rebuild operation by a measurable amount.

Running this site is not always easy is it? So much for the folks that think you just set back collecting money from it.
