WTB: AP1 Low Miles/Clean/Straight/Stock'ish
 

Sold my racecar so it's time to find a nice driver occasional track S..
Looking for AP1 only-
Clean/Low miles and Stock'ish prefered!
Half tempted to buy one of these 20k mi versions but I still want to modify it a bit so would like something $13-20k under 80,000 miles
I've been watching all the classified outlets but this is more a request to the community if someone out there is hiding a gem or on the fence! ;)

Super clean AP1's are incredibly hard to find. Good luck with your search.

I've also been half tempted to sell mine and pick up one of those super low mileage AP1s and leave it relatively untouched. The older I get the more appealing that becomes.

How's the paint under the dip? Was the hood sanded or primed, looked dull in the photos?

I mean, it's mostly stock, I've just mainly done some AP2 upgrades. The tonneau is really the only thing that you'd have a hard time reversing (mainly because it's a PITA to do a soft top). I figured the brakes would be a bonus for tracking it (and they're perfectly fine on the street - that's all I've ever driven it on).

The paint is actually pretty good underneath the dip. The potato quality pics were from the day I dipped it, so that's basically what it should look like underneath. The hood is carbon, and the clear has just faded on it. Ideally, it could use a new coat of clear. Feezy has shown that a detail can make it look better than it did new, but it was hard for me to keep up while my car was parked outside during work (it was my DD for a few years). I'll sell mine. It's 100% stock. Yes it was turbo, but I pulled it off to sell the car as stock. Just time to move on from it.

75k ish .i only drive it once a week or so for the last few years. Owned it since 2007, 2nd owner.

Hey, i have a customer who is selling his bone stock Ap1. Silverstone with 57k i believe. It has some small patches on the top, but other then thats it's really clean

Sounds like a winner.. Not worried about the top if it's a "driver" quality car.. OEM Hartop will be on the list of items!
