how nice is the Kitt Peak National Observatory.? is it worth the drive from phoenix?

I really want to go on a day trip to Jerome.. the only thing I'm concerned about is: are there big speed bumps or drop-offs and such in the roads there? I'm 2" lowered, I believe.. I just don't want to get stuck or scrape every 2 minutes.

no problems its a nice smooth drive it's actually one of our favorite drives.

I think we did this a few years back on a group drive, the 97-96-89 combo. From what I recall, it was fun, wide open without traffic, and a mix of straights and sweeping curves. Until you hit 89, then weekend traffic.
