Alarm shop recommendations
So, I tried to install an alarm today and failed miserably. Can anyone recommend a good shop in the phoenix area (preferably) close to scottsdale for me to purchase and get an alarm installed?
|
Stay away from Chronic Car audio. If they are still in business. Other than that, I am not sure.
|
Thanks for the tip. I was thinking audio express. Anyone here tried them?

I have a guy. PM me if you're interested and I'll check if he still does them.

I settled for Ultimate Electronics out of convinence...
What alarm do you want? That might help narrow down where to go. |
I am not too picky. Just something that works well, has a proximity sensor, and is preferably a little too sensitive :)

my friend at best buy.. i only trust him to do the worker and no1 else there

I'm waiting on my installer. Not sure if he still does them or the holiday thing. May want to go with Roger's if you're in that much of a hurry.

Never let an alarm installer know where you live and don't believe that a big shop won't **** you over. I have heard tons of stories where shady shops will sell you all the equipment then steal it back.
Also, make sure they don't stash the brain under the steering wheel. 99% of alarms can be ripped out of the car in less than 15 seconds. |
i'll PM you my cell.. send me a text or call if you're interested.. (I won't have time to check here over the weekend) he has done alarms on a S2k before so its not a problem for him.. when i was working at fueled for awhile we had customers who wanted alarms for their car.. we always called my friend in or just sent the customer to my friend..
when doing stuff like car audio.. or alarm.. i say find someone in the shop who is pretty big into cars.. most likely they will do a cleaner job and give your car more care then the average guy.. |
