Looks like i found my seats! Oh, if you look the thief even has a CR steering wheel!
I would love to call this guy and ask him if he's selling the gauge cluster or my floor mats. I knew someone would try to get some money out of them!

how can you tell these are yours?

tipton80 02-22-2010 05:07 PM

I don't know if they are mine but I do know that the guy selling it probably didn't spend eight grand at the dealer to install them in a civic. And he is also selling the steering wheel, I'm willing to bet lots of money that the prick stole them. Most people don't sell their CR parts (Only if you're from Vegas and make the car into a race car) It's been about five months since that faithful night. I can understand that the person who stole the merchandise now wants some money for his hard work. I hope they get stolen from him!

That guy has theif written all over his page. Tons of very very random used car stereo's and such.

Yeah, I looked at his stuff too. His screen name is niceguytido, that should tell you he is a bottom feeder! I look all the time (It's now a hobby of mine) at Craigslist and ebay and I NEVER find CR parts, NEVER!! I wonder why....hmmm...Oh yeah, i know why, people don't spend $40,000 on a collectors item car to strip it! But, people who steal parts from a $40,000 car will sell those parts on those websites.
It's just really funny to see people sell my parts, I just wanted you guys to laugh with me!

I know a guy here in Tucson who has owned 6 or 7 S2000's (Buys and restores and sells), and he mentioned to me that he'd probably end up buying my seats on Craigslist some day. :( I dont have a CR though.

Ive thought about having the lojack box installed into the seats, would be funny as hell.

Damn, I was hoping that your hardtop was listed so I could buy it. :D

He buys theft recovery's from around the country, fixes them, and resells them. So he would buy the seats to keep around for the next theft recovery he buys.
